Iasan & Sebastian Website Design

Posted in Creative Direction, Interactive Design, UI

Working within a small budget can be a challenge, one where making good choices and problem solving are of up-most importance.  I worked with Iasan & Sebastian owner Jason McGlaughlin to create a new site for his salon. One of Jason’s main concerns was that he couldn’t update his old site and didn’t want to need help in doing so. I always prefer to put tools into the clients hands, and while there are a plethora of CMS solutions available, I suggested WordPress because of my familiarity with it.

Jason was getting new salon photography taken and having a video made. We wanted the site to be a quick hit with lots of photography. I found an appropriate responsive template to start from. I tweaked the template as needed. I feel that the site looks great, meets Jason’s present needs, and can be modified and expanded on in the future.
